My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is my favorite show of all time!

This show was my entire teenage years and It's VERY important to me.

What is it?

In case you don't know. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is an animated kids show about a unicorn named Twilight Sparkle making friends and learning about the magic of friendship. It is meant to teach young children moral lessons. After the show came out a fanbase formed of adults who loved the show particularly adult men these people were dubbed Bronies, a combination of "Bro" and "Pony".

How I found MLP

I was 10 when the show came out and I thought I was too old for it. I had seen some of generation 3 and didn't like it. However, my cousin loved the show and convinced me to try watching it. My first episode was Feeling Pinkie Keen and eventhough that's not the best episode I was hooked! Ever since then MLP became my biggest special interest and basically my entire personality! I spent all my free time making and consuming fan content and of course watching the show. I was also very into Brony Culture.

How MLP made me

It isn't an exageration to say MLP changed my life. I was so obsessed with it that when I ran out of episodes and had to wait to get more I refused to stop my obsession. I was too young to be on the internet and had never even heard of fanart but I NEEDED more pony. So I pulled up a picture of fluttershy and tried to draw it. I thankfully still have some pictures of these old drawings. These were some of my first art pieces. It was the start of my other obsession for life. I have now been drawing for 12 years now and art is also very important to me.

It isn't just that though. MLP was often the reason i started new hobbies. I'd see a piece of fanwork, I found it eventually, and try to make something like it. I tried making reviews, analysis videos, readings, fanfictions, AU's, fan art, music, and more. MLP was my creative drive. It was also a huge coping mechanism for the stressors in my life at the time and, as the show was meant to, it taught me a lot of great lessons my autistic child mind really needed.

Why I made this website

It might seem obvious to make a website since I love the show, but the reason I made this is a little bit more than that. I spent all my time as a young artist consuming and creating pony content but i never felt like I could live up to my inspirations. It's not an uncommon artist problem but recently I decided I wanted to try again. As I stated before I tried to make all sorts of fan content in the past but none of them felt right. No matter what I made It didn't satisfy me. Most of it I never even shared and what I did was barely seen. So this is my latest attempt to express my love for this show. This is my own little MLP fandom space. The one I dreamed of as a kid.
